Happy Fediversary to us!! 🥳 We joined this platform 3 months ago and couldn't be happier with our decision. So to commemorate this milestone we just made our Instagram account friends only. Check out our story to see our last IG post! We think you'll like it. It's a big step towards winding things down over on that platform, and we intend to be fully off of all META owned entities by 2026. But we're hoping to use our remaining time there to bring a few friends over to the good side here in the Fediverse.

The #KrononautMoon Project seeks to make contact with #TimeTravelers — i.e., extradimensional beings — by promoting decentralized community experiments during the #TotalLunarEclipse. There will be 3 #TLEclipses in the next 2 years. The first of the triad occurs next month on 2025 Mar 14, the night of the #FullMoon & March's #WormMoon. All are invited (even skeptics) to celebrate on Thursday or Friday evening under the stars — wherever you are.

@KronoMoon on #Mastodon shares toots, articles & videos on various sub-themes and sub-theories, because any theory of #TimeTravel is polydimensional, beyond our current technology, and incomplete. Often associated with #UFOs or #UAP, a real-life encounter with a #spacetime ship or a #TimeMachine is less likely than some kind of #quantum #signal. It's possible that such signals have been beaming toward us for a long time. Please take lots of #photos of the #Moon and share them with @KronoMoonPhotos, so that we can document any anomalous phenomena. The plan focuses on Lunar Eclipses that are "Total" (typically occurring about once per year) and not other types of Eclipses.

To the one that build this freaking cool timemachine at #38C3 : thank you.

I was too late to play it, but from what I had seen, this was just an incredible crazy idea. And it looked like so much work (not 100, but 1000 hours of work). Wow!

It made me really sad to see, that people just broke it. I dont know, why people cant be careful with such stuff. This made me realize again, why we cant have nice things.

I hope, you sir, can repair it (more or less easily) and place it somewhere, where people worth it (which doesnt seem to be people from CCC/38C3)

Photo wasnt made by me.

Question for macOS enthusiasts: I run a Time Machine backup via my wifi network, so every hour I get a backup. Awesome yes? Well..

Every time it makes a backup, the MacBook briefly struggles a bit with basic tasks like browsing and playback of video. Somewhat amazing how Apple didn't optimise for this scenario and this happens with an M2 device, but I guess since they quit selling Time Capsules, it's not on their radar anymore.

Is there a way to tell Time Machine to make a backup every, like, three hours? It's a workaround, but it would lower my annoyance.

❛❛ every time-traveling #movie … has played on a universal, if vain, human desire to experience a #world that's entirely unavailable to us — and perhaps to change things in our own.

Though most would cite #HGWells's 1895 novel 'The #TimeMachine' as the progenitor of the modern time-travel story, the author wrote an even earlier one, "The Chronic Argonauts," in 1888. ❜❜
