#NowPlaying this very odd cassette I randomly picked up last Bandcamp Friday from Spanish label Strategic Tape Reserve (the ones who included a "mostly safe" alcohol wipe to use "before handling the tape"). I feel like I just entered some sort of portal.

The mystery (?) CD is "GaijinCD4" by Disc — a collaboration between #Matmos, #Kid606 and #Lesser. Described in the catalog as "skipping noise terror". Meaning, it's made from CD skipping sounds. To leave no doubt about that fact, a Hildegard of Bingen CD full of cracks is included as a bonus. I mean, everybody sure loves skipping CDs, and this makes it an even funkier experience.

Cor blimey! Today it's twenty whole actual earth years since one of my favourite #music gigs (at which I was a performer, at least). The debut performance of #Tripswyche - a VERY #psychedelic, #experimental band comprised of #DaevidAllen (mastermind behind #Gong, on guitars, tapes and nudity), Kavi Samut (from Electric Tepee, on bells, whistles and kaoss), Misbah (poetry and weirdsmithery) and myself (on guitars and inexplicable noise). Held in a grungy venue in a seedy corner of Brisbane's Fortitude Valley on the 1st of April, 2005, it was an incredibly cosmic exploration of death, with added touches of fame, capitalism and art. And humour, definitely humour - it was a highly amusing experience!

be prepared for the arrival of the #GuitarGod (umm, that's me!) next week, when the #MühlheimerNacht happens especially at the #KunstwerkKöln, 5th of April.
Yeah, I took out my olde guitar I can't even play and recorded string by string like the genius I am... just to prepare one more live song that will hopefully be finished till next weekend. For Cologne! For Köln!
And I'm luckily (for you!) not the only one on stage, there will be @knrd@sonomu.club and @noisio@chaos.social of the Rundfunkorchestra, or the wild and unbelievable @luka@sonomu.club - and those are only the #FediverseMusicians. Also der Analoge Mann, Drehkommando, Mindström or Hans von Guglet will rock the building like never before.
A hell uva night, full of experimental and not so #experimental #noise organized by the one and only @dlikdh@metalhead.club , him being a legendary expert in the CC and net label scene.

Can't wait!!
