zum einen wollte ich schon immer mal eine Umfrage ausprobieren, zum anderen eine echte Frage:

Soll/darf man Menschen die physikalische Einheiten falsch verwenden (privat) darauf hinweisen oder einfach ignorieren? (Ich ignoriere es bis jetzt)

Zwei Klassiker:
a) Meine Batterie hat 10kW. (Nein hat sie nicht, wahrscheinlicher: 10kWh...)
b) Meine Batterie hat 10kW/h (Für Physiker fast noch witziger...)

Anyone controlling a #huawei r4850g2 power supply/battery charger via #canbus from a #raspberrypi running #venusOS with #nodered and a #candlelight usb adapter?

On one side, I am so deep in this rabbit hole that its not much more effort to implement the canbus communication and control algorithms in node-red or call call the C program https://www.beyondlogic.org/review-huawei-r4850g2-power-supply-53-5vdc-3kw/ ; On the other side I want to avoid to reinvent the wheel and focus on interesting stuff and not debugging can communication.

I read a forum discussion about people integrating the charger in their #victronenergy system, but they never wrote how they did it - apparently some kind of #mqtt #dbus bridge emulating a Victron charger with the actual communication done by some ESP8266/33; other people just set a default voltage/current and use it to top up their offgrid system with a small generator.
