Great to see you guys promoting the initiative of buying from EU, but there is something frustrating: I would love to tag #philips when I post about switching Oral-B to Sonicare, but #philips is not on Mastodon. I would be happy to tag #adidas when I mention why I chose it over Nike, but it is not here either. I olny buy #nokia phones, I love my #secrid wallet, #jabra headsets. But they are not here.

Darf ich vorstellen: #Philips SL-9 - eine der ersten #Energiespar-Leuchten, produziert ab 1984, 9W Leistungsaufnahme und eine Leistung von 425 #Lumen nominal. Innen eine um mehrere Kurven geführte #Leuchtstoffröhre und ein klassischer Eisen-Ballast mit elektronischem Starter erkennbar. Der Hersteller gab eine Lebenserwartung von 5000 Stunden an - ich habe das Ding seit 1990 nahezu täglich in Betrieb! I am irrationally gleeful today because I replaced a #Philips #Hue Bridge v2's power adapter with a USB-A-to-2.5mm-barrel cable.
Now I just plug in the USB-A cable to my new #Anker Prime Charger, 200W 6-Port #GaN Charging Station.
So, I've replaced 4 devices' power supplies with cables that plug into this sweet charging station. A Hue hub, my #Hubitat hub, and two 15w #Apple power supplies for my #HomePod minis.
Now awaiting the cables (USB-A-to-2.1mm-barrel) for my two Eufy Homebase 2's!!

Question about #GU10 #light bulbs ... I bought an #Osram #led unit to replace the #Philips halogen one, but while it seems to go in OK, it won't twist into place. Is that a common problem? The connector bits seen to be the same shape, but the body is a bit different. Should I get a Philips led instead, or will I have to stick with the old halogen one?

Wow, unexpected easy repair on my many years old shaver. 
Battery had died already, but still worked perfectly on mains power – till yesterday. 4 screws later the fault was visible: one of the motor contacts was weggegammelt. Just replaced it with a short wire.
