Hearts 💝 and Minds 🧠

Preface: Fuck the Fascists. I've tried to relate nuanced #occult concepts so everyone can relate to without a full thesis or book list. There is a very delicate #nuance here that I must underline: ✨🌟✨️I'm saying don't focus on the certainty, but it's okay to discuss and prepare for the possibility. ✨🌟✨

With the possibility of fascist's coming to kill us, it calls up the occult truth "energy flows where attention goes" (co-opted by many)

I caution us all not to focus on the *certainty* they are going to kill us, and instead more on the #Queertopia and what that looks like. By focusing on their end goal and validating it you lend them some of the power of your belief to the #egregore (entity of group belief) they are creating, doing some of their work for them. #Fear is as potent a manifester as joy or hope.

HOWEVER, acknowledging that is what they are TRYING (not succeeding in), we can speak of it, prepare appropriately, and fight against it without feeding our energy to their demon. While it's true the #fascist #egregore has real power and is a very real danger, I believe we should focus just as much, if not more, of our thoughts on what the #Queertopia looks like, in a much detail as possible, and feed energy to that by talking about it and taking action as if it is a certainty. This will allow us to meet our days with #presence, #power, and #joy, be visible in that, and make the most of the moments we have with our loved ones.

This is NOT to say you should act like nothing is wrong and be complacent and "behaved", rather be fully present in the moment you are in, acknowledge the danger without accidentally or subconciously repeating their bad energy to those close to you or feeding it energy.

Focusing on the end goal is crucial, bc focusing on how exactly the goal will be achieved (#magically and energetically speaking, certainly practical steps are important) will fizzle, and focusing on disaster will beget it. #NonToxicPositivity

I risk writing this because the fascists have some occult folks on their side as well helping to manifest this horror. I encourage you to speak up if you have a different perspective.

When it is appropriate and in balance with our lives: open that box in our hearts where the #resistance fighter lives 😈, observe good op-sec 💻 (use #Signal, #Tor, and #Tails; never divulge personal info while annoymized), and bring the fight to them, this is an asymmetric war for hearts and minds. 📢🎸💰🌟💻📲

How can you be more present in your life and work?

Presence is not something you can “work" for, not directly anyway. Presence is innate.

Presence happens when you release all that blocks or obsures it in yourself. Like water will always flow when you unplug the dam (when it is not frozen, of course 😆 but that's a different metaphor).

𝗛𝗼𝗿𝗿𝗼𝗿 𝗙𝗶𝗹𝗺 𝗥𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄: 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 (𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰) ★★★★★

Directed by Steven Soderbergh, starring Lucy Liu, Chris Sullivan and Callina Liang

With impeccable direction (and some clever misdirection), stunning camerawork, strong performances, and enough scares to keep you on edge, 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 is an easy 5 stars from me

Scientists slam ‘indefensible’ axing of agency's $450m Viper moon rover

Thousands of scientists have protested to the US Congress
over the “unprecedented and indefensible” decision by Nasa to
cancel its #Viper #lunar #rover mission.

In an open letter to Capitol Hill, they have denounced the move,
which was revealed last month,
and heavily criticised the space agency over a decision that has shocked astronomers and astrophysicists across the globe.

The car-sized rover 🔸has already been constructed at a cost of $450m 🔸
and was scheduled to be sent to the moon next year,
when it would have used a one-metre drill to prospect for
🔸#ice below the lunar surface 🔸
in soil at the moon’s #south #pole.

Ice is considered to be vital to plans to build a #lunar #colony,
not just to supply astronauts with #water
but also to provide them with #hydrogen and #oxygen that could be used as fuels.

As a result, prospecting for sources was rated a priority for lunar exploration,
which is scheduled to be ramped up in the next few years with the aim of establishing a #permanent #human #presence on the moon.

Construction of Viper
– volatiles investigating polar exploration rover
– began several years ago,
and the highly complex robot vehicle was virtually complete
when Nasa announced on 17 July that it had decided to kill it off.

The agency said the move was needed because of past cost increases, delays to launch dates
and the risks of future cost growth.

However, the claim has been dismissed by astonished and infuriated scientists
who say the rover would have played a vital role in opening up the moon to human #colonisation.

“Quite frankly, the agency’s decision beggars belief,” said Prof Clive Neal, a lunar scientist at the University of Notre Dame, in Indiana.

“Viper is a fundamental mission on so many fronts and 🔸its cancellation basically undermines Nasa’s entire lunar exploration programme for the next decade. 🔸

It is as straightforward as that.
Cancelling Viper makes no sense whatsoever.”

This view was backed by Ben Fernando of Johns Hopkins University, who was one of the organisers of the open letter to Congress.

“A team of 500 people dedicated years of their careers to construct Viper and now it has been cancelled for no good reason whatsoever,” he told the Observer last week.

“Fortunately I think #Congress is taking this issue very seriously and they have the power to tell Nasa that it has to go ahead with the project. Hopefully they will intervene.”
