The upcoming UK Data Bill has a proposed amendment that would force the revision of all #Trans gender markers to AGAB (irrespective of whether or not we have a GRC).

Given the recent behaviour of Labour regarding the supreme court ruling, there is a good chance they'll support it.

Here is a letter template to send to your local MP to urge them to stop this before it starts: bit.ly/StopTheDataBill

Repost and pass it on.

Google DocsUrgent Letter to MP: Oppose the Amendment to the Data Bill – Protect Trans PrivacySubject: Urgent: Oppose the Amendment to the Data Bill – Protect Trans Privacy Dear [MP’s Name], I am writing to you as a concerned constituent to strongly urge you to oppose the proposed amendment to the Data (Use and Access) Bill that seeks to mandate the collection of sex data strictly based...

One thing I'll always love about being #trans is how much my emotions have opened up and intensified.

Cuz everyone once in a while I'll be moved by an emotion. Literally, my body will move and do shit on its own because someone said or did something and my body just reacted for me.

In the before times I'd still do those things sometimes, but it was always performative. It was always an intentional act on my own volition in order to accentuate the emotion i was trying to portray. And as such it was much more muted so as not to draw attention to its insincerity.

But that was just how I'd always experienced emotion and how i figured most everyone else did. Some folks seemed to be more emotionally expressive and I'd wonder how they got so good at it.

Yeah, turns out once your brain is running on the correct hormones you don't have to be good at it, it just happens on its own.

Hello all! It's your friendly neighborhood mod Glitch, and I am in need of your help covering things for May.

I am a trans nonbinary neurodivergent individual with ME/CFS and degenerative disc disease (lower spine), and I've really been going through a rough time lately.

I am still going through the disability process, and the current administration here in the US has made it incredibly difficult to get things taken care of.

On top of that, I have hard water in my pipes here in the apartment (which explains why I've been itching when I take a shower and not feeling clean when I wash my hands etc.) so I need to be able to buy water filters for the apartment, as well as a replacement shower head with filter so I can take proper showers again.

Funds will be used to cover bills, food items not covered by EBT, personal care, household and hygiene items, cat food and cat litter, and transportation expenses. Help is greatly appreciated!

#PedroPascal made an instagram post in February in support of #transrights, and this was his response to some anti-#trans trolls who responded to him

he also recently called #JKRowling a heinous loser when she celebrated the stupid court ruling in the #UK on #gender

his sister #LuxPascal is trans

my admiration for Pedro was already large but has grown much larger

Come listen to another cozy Elder Scrolls reading~ :cozy:
This one is a short little story told from the perspective of a priestess of Dibella :hug_love:

It feels odd to have a story so true to what Dibella stands for yet also disconnected from the worldly affairs that are usually considered "lore". Even [Night Falls On Sentinel] wasn't quite this oblivious to wider events, but I think that's also part of its charm.

I also do live readings a few times a week over on Twitch (alongside Youtube) if that's more your thing :shiba_excited:

The Crab Museum in the UK Stood Up For Trans Rights.
Leaning on its expertise in biology, the museum said that “there are no binaries in nature” and called the recent anti-trans ruling “an abuse of science.”

Hyperallergic · How a Tiny Crab Museum in the UK Stood Up For Trans RightsBy Rhea Nayyar

Another small first today in gendering: I opened the door for food delivery wearing a skirt.

I do think recently I hit a tipping point of my rage at transphobia and general injustice in the world, which made those feelings override my fear of being perceived more easily as trans / gender-nonconforming by strangers. Doesn't mean each step is easy, but I still want to do it and it feels doable.
