The question of the day is: Which bird is this? - Well, obviously it's a #Sparrowhawk but I mean its prey - it's already plucked and eaten quite a bit - but a distinctive yellow leg is still left - and it wasn't a small bird.
Despite various leg comparisons, I still don't have a match...
A female Sparrowhawk at NWT Cley Marshes on Friday.
She was perched on a post next to the boardwalk, stayed there for maybe a second or two as we rounded the corner and saw her. Just as I got my camera to my eye she was off!

Saw some type of sparrowhack or a small peregrine type bird enjoying its kill (a tiny bird) on an electric cord this evening. It has such a smooth and pretty bluish-grey feather on its back and whiter-coloured belly. I refrained from taking any picture as I was standing too close and didn't want to bother the bird. A happy moment in a busy, noisy city

I sit approx. 6feet from my window, approx. 15 feet from that is a bird feeder so, I have my camera almost permanently set up with a 180-600mm lens on it and get some great shots (IMO) but, about 30 minutes ago, this happened.
