I managed to compile a #video from yesterday's hike! I admit it was a bit tough for me. 1000m elevation & #snowshoes on the backpack (hoping that I could make some good use of them).

The views yesterday were really top! At the summit I had a nice chat with a dude who was here for holidays.

Join me on my 6h tour (7min for you 😉) for a mountain experience. (BTW the video even has subtitles!)

Another photo from our 12-day excursion to Varangerhalvøya National Park, Norway, in April 2024. We enjoyed stunning vistas and fantastic weather throughout the trip. As seen here, the partly cloudy and snowy conditions, combined with the sun peeking through, created a very photogenic environment with incredible lighting.

After work, work and work, finally found the time (and energy) to go for my first bike ride of the year. Had to pass out cheap sunglasses along the ride to the public to protect them from my dazzling white legs. While riding uphill some walking ducks overtook me by surprise. The very nice spring sun felt like a scorching heatwave. Passed the large local boulder with people enjoy the climbing and weather.

To speak with a famous Dutch presenter known for his modesty: it was unanimously a ludicrously large success.

“Most works of mountaineering literature have been written by men, and most male mountaineers are focused on the summit… But to aim for the highest point is not the only way to climb a mountain, nor is a narrative of siege and assault the only way to write about one.”
