After yesterday's snowfall, Sierra Blanca lives up to its name in southern New Mexico.
My family and I went to the Tualatin River Nat'l Wildlife Refuge. I couldn't follow them on the trails but relaxed by the visitors center. I saw some Canada geese, buffleheads and some white feathered dudes (egrets?) and swallows in the distance.
Not quite a #SilentSunday because of the hundreds of cacophonous geese. 
I had a lovely time out photographing the earliest of the magnolias and other flowers at The Arb before the rains hit. I rode my bike so I got a bit sprinkled on, but I had my weather resistant kit so I wasn't worried. Overcast skies make for really nice diffuse lighting which works well for wider aperture close-up photos of flowers. The cool wind made it more challenging, but it was still so nice.

Seen at the local mini-golf course my husband and I played at this gorgeous Sunday afternoon. Can anyone tell me what they are? Though they look like pansies, I don’t think that’s what they are.
