Hello #fedinauts and #fedizens. Is there a lightweight ActivityPub software essentially for microblogging that runs on a 32-bit RaspberryPi? I was looking into @gotosocial but they don't recommend 32-bit. What about @pleroma? Any other suggestions or experiences? @homegrown @FediTips

Tech tip for new #fedizens: if you don't understand how the #fediverse works, it's essentially just like #email: 50 years of atrocious technical decisions and implementation quirks that made sense at the time and constantly bite anyone who attempts to build tooling for it. The specification is more of an archeology of ad hoc hacks, and to peer into it makes your body do that thing from the exorcist and your mind that thing from the Lovecraft books. Also, exactly like email, an amerikkkan big tech decided to take it over and become the de facto authority who's allowed on the network. Fuck you. #feditips

Here is an other proof of concept site my #^allmendenetz.de to demonstrate how webpages generated by #^HUGO can be hosted easy side by side within a #^Hubzilla channel in oder to connect the static side with the decentralized #Fediverse.Get your #HUGO side connected to millions of #Fedizens and enable commends just like that.
