Cześć. Jako osoba samohostująca @Castopod [castopod.org/] wpadłem na pomysł utworzenia listy polskich Castopodów. Jeszcze nie wiem po co, ale potencjalnie można z taką listą zrobić różne rzeczy. Przykładowo utworzyć, gdzieś forum samopomocy, podręcznik polskojęzyczny albo samopomocową grupę / gupika na Fediwersie. Minimalistycznie po prostu to opublikuje dla potomnych. Moja propozycja: rozpowszechniajcie i dopisujcie się do listy siebie i innych. Będę uzupełniał w tym wątku pod hasztagiem: #PolskiCastopod

I have now overhauled not only the list of Fediverse #hosting providers and what software they support, but also added a bunch of aspects you might consider before choosing a certain provider, like the location of the company and their servers, or their attitude towards privacy and ecological sustainability. All those findings are compiled into well-arranged tables.

The article now also covers all the different ways to get yourself running your own Fediverse instance from #ManagedHosting, unmanaged hosting, and cloud hosting to #SelfHosting.

There still might be gaps, or things I got wrong. Please feel free to contribute. Let's bring all the knowledge together, that was previously scattered across many individual blog posts.

@damon @fediversereport I am very much in favor of calling this whole thing the #Fediverse and I think indeed for example #Peertube and #Pixelfed and #Castopod should also be named.

In my opinion Bluesky is not part of the Fediverse and cannot even be considered federated as long as there is only one centrally managed instance.

And as long as that does not change I am not interested in joining it or even reading about it more than once a quarter.

Ich möchte es gerne im #Fediverse verfügbar machen, bspw über #CastoPod oder #Funkwhale. Habt ihr Instanz-Empfehlungen?

In den kommenden Tagen möchte ich 2-3 Probeversionen einlesen, um einen ersten Zugang zu ermöglichen. Darüber hinaus suche ich jemanden mit Erfahrung in der Produktion von Hörbüchern: mindestens für einen kurzen fachlichen Input, ggf auch größere Zusammenarbeit möglich.
Denkbar ist auch die Nutzung weiterer Sprechstimmen, um die Charaktere lebhafter zu machen.
