I've always heard we're supposed to get 8 hours of sleep per night. How much sleep do you normally get?
I get around 4 hours of sleep per night on average. Usually fall asleep around 2 and wake up at 6.
I do enjoy being awake early in the morning currently, should try to fix losing sleep for sure but the quiet and the fact I don't have to hear anyone's bs at this time of day is something I appreciate. The calm against the current storm of life in 2025 is a gift. #sleep
It’s not just the screen time, it’s how we use social media before bed that messes with our sleep!
From doomscrolling to FOMO, emotionally charged posts keep our brains active, making it harder to unwind and fall asleep.
To improve sleep: Avoid emotionally intense content 30-60 mins before bed.
Set your phone on "Do Not Disturb."
Mindfully check social media (or skip it entirely!).

#PSA for anyone considering a sleep study for any reason:
STAY AWAY FROM BLACKSTONE MEDICAL SERVICES
They knowingly submitted a sleep study based on false data to my insurance provider. This is after sending me a dirty, broken pulse oximeter, then ignoring my calls and attempts to inform them of this. The sensor readings were consistently low, but I foolishly tested with it anyway. They then had a "doctor" generate a sleep report based on this incorrect data. Insurance is taking their side, which means I have zero options here except to grit my teeth and get fucked financially.
Seriously, I cannot stress this enough - look for literally any other option. Random strangers on reddit would be a smarter choice here.
I wanted to show appreciation to those adults who are listening to their kids, and supporting them in finding answers for their sleep disorder symptoms.

Lately I have been feeling really tired. I am going to bed early - it might help! #sleep goodnight
