Yawning repeatedly so hard that my eyes water and my sight gets severely blurred, while my brain feels unrelenting waves of sleepiness rush through its withering ridges.

Had to take an early nap today since yesterday and last night were at the "goddamn this is hard"-bracket.
Now I just sit and wonder if I can get anything done today, or will I rest today so maybe tomorrow would be better...
I call it "disability math". (Not coined by me)
I lost my ability to string sentences earlier today from being so sleepy. My partner could see I was getting VERY frustrated of it, were kind to me, and understood my gibberish anyway. That stopped me from crying and collapsing.
It is painful to stay awake, and even harder if you are surrounded by people who don't get it and who womt let you nap.
I'm so glad I don't live like that anymore and can rest instead.

I could not have had a worse night even if I tried...after so perfectly good day it feels so infuriating to have a awful night topped with painful morning. Yesterday I managed Not to nap and it wasn't the worst, but today? Today might just be one of those days when I need several naps and still feel like I died six months ago, while attenpting to necromance myself back to life.
If you want to know what it is like to live a day in my shoes - down some sleeping pills and try not to fall asleep. (: Literally.

I think I have reached an important milestone in my life - I no longer want to sleep over 9am, even if my sleep disoder demands I sleep forever and makes me fall back asleep over and over and over and over.
This includes the days when I am "allowed to" sleep more: Weekends, free days. Etc.
Maybe it is the desire to some resemblance of control with IH, being sick of sleeping my life away, or just...deep feeling of missing out on too damn many hours.
