So, yesterday was no fancy hike, up and down Wank, a mountain which the English speaking world seems to find pretty funny for some reason.
Nice easy option to get 1100m of elevation gain, without knowing how good the conditions would be.
Turns out there is virtually no snow on the sunny side.

View across Garmisch-Partenkirchen towards Zugspitze and Wetterstein. Due to the shade of Zugspitze, this side is a lot more snowy than where I went up. The sky above is all blue, with only very thin high clouds

Hi Friends!

I still owe you the last #photo from last weeks hike near #GarmischPartenkirchen . Those meadows were just ... gorgeous! I mean, I know meadows near #mountains etc but this one is really very scenic!

We came down the road you see in the photo and - I turned around really often to see all its beauty.
