@Maker_of_Things @makershour Hi, I'm Shermin from Berlin, Germany. I'm into hobby hopping. 🙈 I do #whittling, #sewing, #pottery, #spinning, #aquarell, #quilting (EPP) - these are the ones I do most at the moment. If I have time and energy. 😅 In the last time I'm trying to do food miniatures with polymer clay. This is my first try at a cake, after I saw some awesome reel of something like this on Instagram. I also have some cookies and donuts in the making - but haven't found time to finish them. (Sorry for the bad light, it's nearly 10 pm here.)

Dollhouse updates! I finished the mattress, pillows, pillowcases, and sheets for the little bed. I have also finally started work on the kitchen! I made a counter with cabinets and drawers, a stovetop with a cabinet next to it, and a fridge. They are still in rough state and need contact paper and finishing, but they look awesome already. The little fridge gave me happy stims :). I am looking forward to the stovetop challenge!

For the past few months I’ve been having a terrific time making miniatures for my rustic Christmas-themed #Dollhouse using cardboard, mdf board, balsa wood etc.
For Christmas I gifted myself this how-to book by Julie Warren so I can learn more about how to create sturdier and more realistic furniture.
The first thing I learned about was planning a room out ahead of time. I made a model of my kitchen and it helped me solve a positioning problem 😃

Several months ago I started making miniatures for my as yet unfinished plywood #dollhouse. Everything in this #Xmas scene with the exception of the doll and the white hutch, was made out of recycled cardboard and other packaging, and leftover cloth and ribbons and other doodads from around my house.
I’ve gained in confidence now so I’m going to order some mini furniture designs and my husband will be teaching me how to use an Dremel and other woodworking tools
