"42% of NT residents speak a non-English language at home. Only half of eligible Aboriginal residents in the NT are enrolled to vote, and voter participation is even lower. Reconciliation is not just something parliamentarians should direct others to do, it’s something that needs to happen within parliament itself."

#KamalaHarris is conspicuously absent here even though she campaigned vigorously more than 3 months for #Election2024, which itself is flatlined throughout the year, except for a blip in Nov.

This tells a lot about the political malaise in the #US and refutes suggestions that it was #Harris position on any issues that cost her the election.

That she was able to pull in as many votes as she did despite all this is a miracle!
