Ein #Seil #kringel aus #Grasfasern, hart geschlagen. Ich verwende es als Topfkratzer. Einige male nehmen, dann im #Kompost entsorgen.

Ein etwa 8cm lang-ovales, hart aus #Grasfasern geschlagenes Seilkringel.

Falls sich hier noch irgendwer für japanisches Fesseln (Shibari/Kinbaku) interessieren sollte ...

Nach etlichen Kilometern Seil verschiedener Hersteller habe ich mit https://koumanawa.com/de/ endlich _das_ Juteseil gefunden. Es ist von hoher Faserreinheit, Mineralöl-frei (JBO-free), sehr stabil, abriebarm und liegt gut in der Hand. Es ist nur sehr wenig Bearbeitung (ablängen und ölen/wachsen) erforderlich, damit es fesselfertig ist.

Throwing An Grianan into silhouette, the sun's rays are reflected on the still water of the lagoon (formerly the harbour, until closed up with spoil from the abandoned slate quarries).

Brennnesselfasern. Zwei Pflanzen. Zusammengeknietscht ist jeder Faserballen etwa tischtennisballgroß.

Zwei Faserbüschel liegen auf dunklem Untergrund. Das linke ist etwas blassgrüner als das rechte. Die Fasern sind unbehandelt und frisch aufgeschlossen worden, deshalb nennt man sie Grünfasern.

The village of Ellenabeich on the Isle of Seil south of Oban. Seil is connected to the mainland by "The Bridge Over the Atlantic" and is the most easily accessible of the Slate Islands, whose fortune was built on the quarrying of slate. This is the calm before the storm: today the World Stone Skimming Championships take place on Easdale Island; the wee ferry will be running constantly all day, finishing up after 11pm.

In the tiny Ellenabeich harbour, a small open boat approaches the landing slip on a beautiful late summer morning. Over the Sound, Easdale Island awaits the onslaught...
