I finished #Daredevil and oh boy…these 9 episodes were just a boring setup? After it was over the actual story could start…why make that 9 boring episodes with tons of filler stuff? It should have been 3 episodes and then finish up the story arc till episode 9.

I want to like Daredevil Born Again but... I don't know. I guess the fact that it was full of rewrites and reshoots is just too visible. It doesn't feel like a story or a season or something, but a patchwork of stories bundled up together and in the end, it really lacks focus.
There are some very good moments, but it's also just too messy overall and goes into too many directions.
Hopefully season two will be more focused.
Also, I know, I'm the one who always complains about unnecessary cameos and stuff, but the show feels quite remote from the rest of the MCU. The ending of the season should have some implications on the greater MCU and all the superheroes that are NY residents, but I suspect it won't. Oh well.

Daredevil: Born Again was released in March this year. So it must have been written by the time production was halted by the writer's strike in 2023. Given that, it's disturbingly prescient, modelling at city scale roughly what Orange Stalin's administration are doing in federal government level.
It's as good as the Netflix series IMHO.
You certainly feel the change in staffing and direction Daredevil Born Again season one got in its two final episodes. It's a good change. It's fitting, but it's also fucking grim.

Finishing up the rest of the new Daredevil: Born Again episodes. Damn, they're good. I'm not into a TON of comic stuff but Daredevil is always an exception. One of my favorite things.
I'm glad to see #TheStudio is as good as everyone says.
Feels like we're spoiled for good #television at the moment, what with that and #1923, #WhiteLotus, #Daredevil, #Adolescence and #Severance.
Plus #HighPotential was pretty fun, #ChessMasters is back on the BBC, #WheelOfTime somehow keeps getting renewed, and the US version of #HIGNFY #haveIGotNewsForYou has started to get better.
Lili Taylor will join Season 2 of Marvel's "Daredevil: Born Again" in a recurring role that may be a political foe for Vincent D’Onofrio’s Wilson Fisk. Production is currently underway in New York.

Ich mag ja sowohl Charlie Cox als auch Vincent D'onofrio...
First episode of Daredevil Born Again was a little iffy, but the second one was better. Honestly I don’t really need the episodes to be great though, I’m just happy watching Charlie Cox and Vincent D’onofrio do their thing.
In den letzten 30 Stunden die komplette Staffel 3 #Daredevil (die Netflix-Serie von 2015–2018) gebinged, plus die bislang releasten ersten beiden Folgen des Revivals.
Staffel 3 fand ich ziemlich gut. Ich mochte insbesondere die Dialoge, die Matt in seinem Kopf geführt hat, und wie sie filmisch dargestellt wurden. Und den ganzen Intrigenkram. Und die Schauspielenden!
Zur neuen Serie kann ich noch nicht so viel sagen. CGI und die "Überraschung" am Anfang der ersten Folge waren nicht so meins.
