All the video tutorials on Ardour's main channel are now available with spanish subtitles as well.

@edsu Hi! I have volunteered to create a bot account to post linuxdaw.org RSS feed as toots. I see you have created github.com/edsu/feediverse and this question might sound odd but... is it good? 😂 I mean, is it stable?

Years ago I used #feed2toot and it was fine. I have also tried feedsin.space/ but we want to publish from our own account. Happy to try #feediverse but since you're here I thought I'd ask first. 🙏

Big updates on linuxdaw.org !

Some new stuff I've been working on these past weeks..

[Collections]
You can now add apps/plugins to custom collections and if you want to - share with others!

[Ratings]
You can now rate apps/plugins to filter them/sort them.

[Menu]
I added a burger-menu to handle new stuff.

[User data]
User data is _only_ stored in the browser. It can be exported/shared through compressed URLs.

Today linuxdaw.org turned 1 year old, happy birthday :)

So I thought it was mature enough to mention on #hackernews and it climbed up to the second spot for a short while. 10 seconds of fame ;)

Next feature I'm working on (cause it's something I need) is the ability to create "lists" or "collections".

While testing plugins, which I do all the time, it's nice to "bookmark" the ones I feel I really wanna use.

Update on linuxdaw.org

Not long ago I added crawling functionality for making it easier to maintain versions and prices.

I can now also detect if there is a sale on a plugin if I've added some config to the plugin site.

And since #blackfriday is soon it would be nice to get an overview of this, so I added an experimental filter

linuxdaw.org/?sale

Only 12 plugins right now, but if you know of any more, please let me know and I will see if I can add automatically.

Update on linuxdaw.org

I added the posibility to crawl versions and prices a couple of weeks ago so that maintaining them would be easier.

That opens a door to also include sales, so I implemented that yesterday.

Just implemented for @audiothing so far, but when I (or you?) discover other developers with sales I will include them as well.

This is still a manual triggered job, so prices will still only be updated every so often, weekly-ish..

New features on linuxdaw.org

Added plugin version and wrote a small crawler to fetch latest versions automatically. While I was at it I also added support for crawling prices. Both of these would be hell to maintain /update manually.

Slowly, but surely, I will start adding versions to plugins where it makes sense.

Lastly I added "favorites" functionality as an experimental feature. You can "star" plugins to make a "collection" etc.
