Been working on a new iteration of my procedural history/lore generation algorithm for fantasy settings.

I already studied #dwarffortress and #cavesofqud GDC talks and posts.

Anybody got any other resources about this subject?

I haven't done an updated #Introduction in a while so,

Which isn't a lot, but what am I supposed to do with artifact buckets?

I think one of the reasons I haven't played #dwarffortress in a while is how long it takes to get to the "interesting" parts of the game (as in, reaching underground caves and such).

We got our first migration wave of dwarfs which means our industry has picked up the pace a bit. We found a cave layer but it's the second cave layer, so we'll still need to fine the first and third. The trading caravan is due to arrive in a couple of months. We've yet to find any ores to fashion armor and weapons out of... yet.
