The Tigers won!
They are having a great season.
Summer watched the baseball game with me so now it's her turn for some fun.
We went outside and lounged on the grass for a bit.
The sky is so blue I just wanted to stay there and watch the clouds roll by until dark.
Frisbee chasing needed to happen though. Late afternoon exercise helps Summer relax for the evening.

Summer and I have been digging up tulip bulbs to make way for dahlias and veggies since early this morning.
It must be mid morning break time.
Baking banana chocolate chip muffins for the grandkids is next.
I'm trying to get things done, before noon protest date with my daughter.
I rarely look back at my life with regret, but lately I've been wishing I had put as much effort into politics before the 2024 election, as I feel like I have to now.
Lesson learned.
Next election, I will be working everyday for the candidates I support. No more room for complacency in my world.
Summer says she's with me.
She always says that.

Summer is an enthusiastic Detroit Tigers fan. We are whiling away our afternoon watching a double header together.
My allergies are bad enough to keep me in the house where there are aircleaners to capture the pollen.
Any excuse will work.
Summer says she wants a hot dog at the ball park.
No such luck.

I woke up early today.
I decided to wake Summer up too.
We let her pal sleep in for a few minutes while we got ready.
The sky was overcast, low tide and no wind.
Lots of wildflowers blooming.
When we got to the trail I was struck by the quiet. No noise, except the crash of the ocean in the distance. Some mornings, the birds and animals let us know we are guests in their space.
We pushed ourselves for ninety minutes today. The exercise does a body good. So we hear.
