Finished my 1935 evening dress! I feel like May West in the dress - all curves. I love the "barely staying up" feel of this dress.

The pattern is from a 1935 drafting system, though getting the drafting to work around my bust to waist ratio was a challenge. And a challenge again to make sure the heavy bread work stayed in place. The bead work design is my own, and took about 6 weeks to complete.

The silk satin charmeuse is from Dharma Trading and was with the devil or heaven to deal with, with nothing in between.
