My cat Maki really scared me! A week ago he was diagnosed with an acute kidney injury. I was distraught - I really love this little guy. After two days he was one bad blood test away from having to be euthanised. Today here he is back in his home. The total vet bill is almost $8,000. Thank goodness we insured him when he was a kitten - that decision saved his life.
