Electrically heated hot air blimp. Is this anything? Is this a good idea?
I'm imagining it's given its initial heating on the ground, connected to grid power, which is hopefully renewable. The battery it carries is just to keep it warm.
Can it still increase its density with balonets when it needs to? Like a helium blimp? So it doesn't have to expel hot air?

Oregon too has a history of #LighterThanAir travel; in #worldWar2 several #blimps patrolled the coast on the lookout for Japanese subs.
