The One Ring inscription (Part 1)

The inscription on the One Ring is perhaps the best-known piece of Tengwar art (along with the Doors of Moria) that Tolkien conceived, but did you know that he made a mistake in trying to find a better style of calligraphy for it after sending it to the printer and being urged by everyone to finish the job?

Der Gesinnungswandel von #Trump bzw. der #USA erinnert mich irgendwie an den Herrn der Ringe. Was #Tolkien vor 80 Jahren entwarf, beschreibt in gewisser Weise unsere Gegenwart:

Während #Putin als #Sauron schon lange das Böse verkörpert, hat Trump sich als #Saruman jüngst vom Orden der Weisen, der #NATO, abgewandt und sucht nun das Bündnis mit #Mordor.

Die spannende Frage ist, ob das Bündnis der zwei Türme auch in unserer Realität am Ende scheitern wird ...

Wow, eine Studentin hat für die KI-Klausur einen #SauronGPT programmiert! Und dieser lehrt (nach einem höhnischen Lachen) u.a. über Konzern-#Neurohacking : „Überwinde die digitale Thymokratie, indem du nicht um Anerkennung kämpfst, sondern die Mechanismen kontrollierst, die sie verteilen – denn wahre Macht gehört nicht denen, die beklatscht werden, sondern denen, die entscheiden, wer Gehör findet.“
