It's a move, similarly ballsy to when they followed up "Push it" with a "Twist and shout" remake a few years earlier.
"Twist and Shout" is a 1961 song written by #PhilMedley and #BertBerns (later credited as "Bert Russell"). It was originally recorded by #theTopNotes, but it did not become a hit in the record charts until it was reworked by #theIsleyBrothers in 1962. The song has been covered by several artists, including #theBeatles, #SaltNPepa, The Astronauts and #ChakaDemusAndPliers, who experienced chart success with their versions.

#today I listened to Salt 'N' Pepa for the first time in years. I used to love them back in the day and when I had a black mini, the Black's Magic album was often in the tape deck.
I love their songs great booming kick drums (808 surely?) and the kicks rhythms are great.
"If I had a wish before I die, I'd like to have it like this for he rest of my life" is a classic lyric.
