@BeTongLen @TonyStark I still don't buy that the electorate was made to vote for #OrangeFelon ... It's insulting to say that American voters are not smart enough to determine what's right or wrong or who's presidential or not. You can make a point that Democratic voters lazily did not show up, voted for 3rd party in protest of whatever their grievances with the Democratic party was, or that people did not like higher prices of groceries ...
But that this election was even close cannot really be explained by any of these arguments.
IMHO, voters voted for the person they wanted in power: A thug, who promised to be their retribution, ending immigration, and establishing a christo-fascist USA! Trump voters liked that he made them feel good about themselves without any effort on their part and that there was no change from the Status Quo needed in future, either.
This is the story Trump, the billionaire class, and the #GOP sold and Trump voters desperately want to believe!
