It is day 14 of #AmigApril

Some days ago I discovered OpenLara, an opensource-implementation of the first Tomb Raider engine and its port to AmigaOS.

It is just a demo with only two levels and (at least in my case) no sound. But it is fully playable at stable 30 fps. I never thought this (unfairly tuned) Amiga is able to push so many polygons 😀

So it seems like the #TombRaider TV series has been canceled? The latest #LaraCroft effort might be just dead in the water:

I've always been obssessed with tomb raider. I've been a fan since I was little and I played Tomb Raider Legend for Nintendo DS. After that I played basically all of the games and the ones that I didn't played I watched different walkthroughs and videos.
If you ask me what my favourite Tomb Raider game is my answer is always the same : "I can't just chose one!!". And is true! But Legend, Underworld and the one from 2013 are definetly on my top 5.
I have some statues and figures of Lara Croft but one day I want to tattoo something related to her games.

Como dibujar es una de las cosas que hago, y en cuanto me instale en mi nueva casa quiero ponerme a ello en serio (ponerme lo de "open commissions" y hacer prints y todo esto que tengo que actualizarme porque me siento como Paco Martínez Soria en "La ciudad no es para mí"), pues voy compartiendo.

No tengo un único estilo, pero es cierto que uno de ellos es este de personajes con cabezas redondas flotantes.

Ilustración realizada con tinta y papel. Se trata de un fanart del personaje Lara Croft de los videojuegos de Tomb Raider. Se ve de cuerpo entero en posición de salto mientras apunta con pistolas en ambas manos. Lleva una trenza muy larga que ocupa gran parte de la ilustración. Alrededor de la imagen principal está todo pintado de negro a modo de marco, del que salen plantas, lianas, hojas de palmera, ruinas... para dar la impresión de estar en la jungla.
