Hmm 🤔 we weren't able to do the usual vid and snaps. There were people on the "beach" with a campfire (which is very much prohibited in this area!). And they had a dog, a big one, with a big Bork. With Arwen's age and the way the dog reacted, we walked a bit further. The dog barked some more, so Arwen was a bit distracted...

We tried to play a bit, but my vid may be more bugger than usual, as I was trying to keep an eye out in that dog as well. Don't need any more stress for Arwen (or myself).

So, unfortunately, less snaps and probably a wobbly vid... But Arwen did enjoy her time. We're now trying a different route back, which we've never walked, so I hope it works out well...

Quickly edited a video 📹 that's uploading to PeerTube now. Arwen was busy with all the sniffs, so I had some time to play on my phone... 😊

She had a nice time. And we're slowly heading to Skoosh... At one point, I wondered if she wasn't going to get the ball... We do have plenty of spares, but her not getting it isn't a good thing... 😔

I did my best with the alt text again... Hope you'll like it!

:pixy_party: catch you later! 🐾 💜

Pupdate :annoyingdog:

She has had a few splashes, and we're slowly heading back to Skoosh again. She's always disappointed when we leave, but when we're walking back to the car, I guess she does feel like it's been enough, so she can make the journey back.

It's hard to restrict game time, especially since she loves it so much. But I can't get Skoosh to the water side, and it's not really a possibility of me carrying her.

Of course, should something happen, then I'll definitely try to carry her. But with my hip, elbow, and hands at the moment... It would be almost impossible to do. And I guess I could never get her to Skoosh... 😔

So, be wise, limited play time, and then a slow walk back. She does enjoy it. And hopefully I can offer it to her again this Friday. We do have the vet then, for the shot. When that takes effect again, with the pills, I feel she should be feeling as best as possible then...

I do have some coupon savings, so that will be part of the funds. And I have my recycling ♻️ cans and bottles, which should add some more to it. Doing my best to provide Arwen with the care she deserves!

When we get back, I'll try to edit the vid a bit that I took today at the water side. I should hopefully be able to do that before heading out to the store... 😊

Thank you to all that have helped us in so many ways! :flying_hearts: thanks to your support, Arwen is still around to enjoy all this. *And* thanks to your support, when her time has come, I'll be able to take her home with me... For which I'll always be grateful! :parrot_sad:

I'll try to add an Alt text as best as I can... Hopefully it won't be too bad...

:parrot_sad: Ow my.....
I'm already an emotional wreck. I try to keep thinking positive, to keep focus on the good times that we may still be able to share...
But that little voice in the back of my head keeps telling me that "this may be the last time that...". And I *know* I should not go there... But I'm just so scared of losing her... 💔

And now, slowly, some support is coming in. :ablobcatheartsqueeze: and every notification brings me to tears... :moomin_sad: partially sad tears because I know the time is running out... Also, partially happy tears , because people care for me and Arwen. People think we're important enough to get this support... However sad the reasons may be...

I can never thank you with my words. I feel they will always be insufficient... If that makes sense...

But we're at €290/€400 now, and it means that I, hopefully, will be able to bring her back home, after her soul has crossed the 🌈 bridge...

As I mentioned in the update on GoFundMe, it would be amazing is we could raise enough to also make a start for the costs for the ash-pendant. But... Getting her the private cremation and urn, and taking her home, those will be most pressing, once she's passed... When I've got the ashes, I can save for the ash-pendant to wear her close to my heart forever....

Thanks ever so much for all your support! :bear_love: Arwen and I really appreciate all you do for us... :bear_nuzzle:

I'll try to keep sharing all the Arwen pics I can, both here and on Pixelfed. Because she is worth it... :purple_heart_sparkle:
