Dag 11: A 2024 drama that kept you riveted.
The drama that kept my riveted IN 2024 was #EmpressKi with #HaJiWon and #JiChangWook. I never would have guessed that a 51-episode historical drama could capture my attention throughout but it did.
The new dramas that kept me going were #MrPlankton, as previously mentioned, and I loved the journey in #QueenOfTears with a wide range of characters and locations as well as amazing acting by #KimJiWon and #KimSooHyun

#Day3 Favourite actor discovered in 2024
I have to say that the male actors are a huge motivator for me, watching k-drama!
Probably the actor that I rediscovered and watched the most this year was #JungHaeIn, watching him in Love Next Door, Snowdrop, Something in the Rain, and One Spring Night.
A close second was #JiChangWook, watching him in Lovestruck in the City, Empress Ki, and K2.
However, the new actor for me was #UhmTaeGoo who was delightful in My Sweet Mobster
All right. I've managed to complete my intermittent binge of 51-episode #EmpressKi
The acting by #JiChangWook and #HaJiWon was stellar! Although the story was based on factual information, many liberties were taken with the details. Still, I couldn't look away and found the story to be very compelling.
The biggest stars of all were the costumes and jewellery! They were so visually stunning in every scene. It will be hard for me to return to monochrome Joseon dramas.

Hooked by #TheEmpressKi despite #sageuk dramas not being my thing.
I just can't stand the disregard for human life and their suffering.
Anyway the sublime #JiChangWook makes even the most despicable and weakest emperor entertaining. It's the first time I see him in such a demeaning role and he can nail that one too.
#HaJiWon is equally outstanding, looking forward to seeing more of her!
About ep 15: was football/soccer a thing in Goryeo?
#JiChangWook always amazes me in fighting scenes, but this time they're taken a bit too far. The guy is half dead and he still fights all the hunch men coming at him. And he wakes up in the doctor's room after 20 min just in time to reveal an important peace of information 
I really disliked the FL, as any female character unable to do anything and constantly being rescued by the ML while screaming "Je-ha-iaaaa!!!"
