Stitched and framed!

This has been on my To Be Finished pile since Mar 15 so I'm very happy to have found a few moments to add the asterisk stars last night

I do wish my camera took decent pictures of white - this is pretty bright sunlight and it's still weirdly yellow. IRL it's really vivid and fun

Cross-stitch in a square fuschia frame reading "ally in conflict, consolation in disappointment, comrade in adventure and accomplice in mischief." Each section of the phase is stitched in ombre of red, pink, orange and purple. There are randomly placed stars stitched in the opposite of the ombre that fill in the rest of the white background.

I actually finished this on May 7 about 1:05AM. It's #BlueWillowButterflyPrayerClothinPink. Stitched on Zweigart 14-count "White Opal" Aida. Originally designed a few years ago in blues, which I think I've posted at some point. But I've been getting bugged by something for over a year 2 do out at least the pink palette, if not several others 2. So I did! 😄 I think it turned out pretty neat, but I think I like the blue better. #CrossStitch @christianstitchers @christianartists @charitystitchers

This is a picture of the front panel of "Blue Willow Butterfly Prayer Cloth in Pink." It shows a cross stitched butterfly with a border, two flowers in the lower corners and a #Ladybug, all in pinks. The ladybug is positioned just to the left of the center toward the bottom below the butterfly's lower left wing. To the right of the ladybug, "Acts 19:11-12" is stitched, also in pink. The background for the photograph is actually my mouse pad. It has what looks like rays of pink and purple light, making it appear that they're streaming toward the viewer as if the light is coming from behind the prayer cloth.

There is no specific pattern for this but feel free to copy or ask me to make one I guess?

A silver frame containing a cross stitch. There are two small pieces of felt at the edges to make it fit. The text is in black: 'To the moon and back 🖤", there is a smattering of silver stars around it. The border is made up of four mirrored flowers, two on top and two at the bottom. They have green stems and purple flowers in two shades. There are two silver crescent moons between each two flowers, one on top and one at the bottom. The top one point up like a horseshoe and the bottom one points down.

And the colours aren't exact, partially because it's hard to judge colours in stage lighting and partially because I found evidence of at least two different shades of Axel's pants.

Hurrah, progress!

Finished the second part and made a decent dent in the third part of the SAL. I can start the border tomorrow, or maybe crack on with the other 2.5 hexagons to be done.

Pattern is Floral Hexagons by Carolyn Manning for Lakeside Needlecraft.

Another photo of the floral hexagon sal. There are now 2 rows of 3 green hexagons filled with brightly coloured flowers. There is one half hexagon that reaches the edge of the pattern.
