Tonight i finished #Charmed S3, & thereby ended my time with the series [notwithstanding that in fact five more seasons followed]. S3E22 was the death of Shannen's character Prue, & the permanent departure of Shannen from the series [albeit viewers did not know that at the actual time]. Once any series vibes with me enough that they have wormed their way into my soul, & i've firmly bonded with the main character/s, i feel fiercely loyal to them. As such, when major character / actor departures happen, pretty much no series survives that trauma wrt my fandom. Indeed, i would feel i was being treacherous & dishonest if i were to continue after that. It's now heading towards 01:00 so it's beddybyes for me... no doubt accompanied by some sobbing for the lost Prue / Shannen.

Now i do belatedly have the time & wherewithal to watch it, so i am. Ofc it's just pap, & it's certainly no Practical Magic, nor for that matter Sabrina, but atm i'm in the mood for frippery not heavy, & i've long had a big soft spot for witchipoo stuff, so streaming it i am.

I'm enjoying it so far, albeit only 4 Eps into S1, but now & then when i think about it, tis slightly discombobulating to realise that its main star rose [post Beverly Hills, 90210], thrived, sickened, & died, all before i was able to see this.

Quelle formidable actrice... trop souvent réduite à un supposé mauvais caractère et à des disputes en plateau. En France, elle était doublée par la talentueuse Anne Rondeleux. Saloperie de crabe.
