Immeuble Lavirotte was built between 1900 and 1901 and it is famous for its #ArtNouveau facade in line with the work of #Gaudí in #Barcelona. It was the first time that Paris had seen a facade appear using so many ceramics.

"The Veiled Lady"
Bust sculpted in 1869 by Giovanni Battista Lombardi. He applied a technique to marble that gives us the impression of a thin veil covering the lady's saddened face. If we look hastily, we have the impression that the knot below the chin was made with real fabric.

Its original name is Einschienige Hängebahn System Eugen Langen. It is the oldest electric elevated railway with hanging cars in the world and is a unique system in Germany.
