@TodePond Sure!
That's the only other material I had left from the 2nd room, I wish I took more but the room was so full everytime I entered
trampbunny's performance is the only one I had to leave before the end to catch a train, but their dark music, together with hands-on approach by using gyro in their glove... and those metalic visuals by XiNDE_REN enchanted performance so much, I felt awful leaving, but also satisfied that I experienced as much as I did

What was happening in the other room? when I checked in, I was pretty much invited to see amazing multi-person audio-visual jam, everyone was infectiously smiling and enriching the performance in their way!

Yaxu's performance captivated audience also visually, his style of music making not only is very animayed in software, but also entire cheerful vive takes me back to PS1 era - @laura_porta also did great work, hypnotizing audience with geometric rotating viz, and fantastically made eyes out of those shapes!

Captivating music by mah[alias], together with captivating visuals by Shankar Saanthakumar... I felt like my soul was sent to another plane, and came back as music went silent, and it came back happy

Okay let's get the videoroll from AlgoRave going!
I'll be posting links to each artist involved in the post, or pinging if I can reach them here on fediverse
m-onz's performance felt like a mad scientist experiment, and they had visuals glitching out during their set... but it was stuttering audio so rhythmically, it might as well be on purpose! Enjoyed every bit of music and all craziness going on!

In true #pastagang fashion, a short screen recording including some #obs screen from yesterdays #algorave.
Applications have opened for (Algo|Afro) Futures 2025!
(Algo|Afro) Futures is a mentoring programme for early career UK-based Black artists who want to explore creative coding and live coding.
Live coding is a performative practice where artists and musicians use code to create live music and live visuals. This is often done at electronic dance music events called Algoraves, but live coding is a technique rather than a genre, and has also been applied to noise music, choreography, live cinema, and many other time-based artforms.
(Algo|Afro) Futures will take place between June - July at Vivid Projects and will consist of five workshops and a live performance in August.
Up to six participants will receive mentorship from Antonio Roberts @hellocatfood and Tyger Blue @tygerblue
Each participant is supported by an access bursary of up to £500.
This opportunity is open for Black UK-based artists only. The call is open from 10th April until 23:59 on 5th May BST.
Further information about the programme, FAQs and the application form itself can be found here https://algo-afro-futures.lurk.org #creativecoding #livecoding #algorave #strudel #hydra #
