Meta has made a major contribution of €178,710 to support the OpenStreetMap community and core infrastructure. This critical funding is directed to OSM operations and infrastructure, and helping to bring the OSM community together around the world.

@thibaultmol @Germo This! The fact that OpenStreetMap gets used by big commercial service providers in their products is awesome! Because it means they all have a vested interest in a healthy and functioning map!

@kennergf Meta employees can be elected to the board by OpenStreetMap foundation members, but I believe their conflict of interest has to be clearly stated in their manifesto.
It also has to be declared when necessary during board interactions
