@merde "Lit" is broad in OpenStreetMap. The Wiki is enlightening on this (pun intended): "Lights do not need to be purpose-built to lit this specific object". See also the tagging examples and accompanying pictures of bus stops:

for example footway lit by a billboard or nearby motorway still can be lit=yes.
