Ten years ago today I met Whisper, a common #wombat from Tasmania. I met her at Dreamworld as a gift from my partner and the step kid.
As a juvenile, she was a very… energetic and would not sit still for many photos, but it was still amazing to hang out with and be a bite-magnet for a wombat.
I credit this moment as both cementing my love of wombats and also planting the seed of visiting Tassie, which we’ve done twice.
