RussThis Townsend's Warbler appeared at a suet feeder in Charlotte, NC in late February and has been reliably visiting ever since. My wife and I went to see it on Saturday. Normally, this species winters along the west coast of the U.S. and in Mexico and Central America. John AlessiLast spring, after getting a bunch of Pine Warbler shots, I tried to move on to Yellow-throated Warblers. I stood in this spot for a long while hoping to get a Yellow-throated warbler on this perch, but this Pine Warbler kept flying in and singing on it.
