Ian Kluft ✈️🎈🌋<p>Cumulus clouds are growing as the time arrives that the forecast said thunderstorms would start to arrive in the Pacific Northwest, particularly along the I-5 corridor west of the Cascade Mountains. Looking north, Mt St Helens is still visible from Portland. But the clouds will undoubtedly obscure it soon. As the&nbsp;lava&nbsp;was cooled much more quickly by the water than it would have done otherwise, it crystallised in the form of columns. As the&nbsp;lava&nbsp;was cooled much more quickly by the water than it would have done otherwise, it crystallised in the form of columns.
