The grand architectural dome of St. Peter’s Cathedral in Vatican City is framed by an open window in the Vatican Museum, with intricate details visible in the sunlight. The structure's classical design contrasts with the simple interior view from which it is admired.

Today we explored the Vatican, and wow, what an experience! Usually, I find that places like this are overhyped and don't live up to expectations, but the Vatican completely blew me away!

Every corner we turned revealed something breathtaking and awe-inspiring. I was genuinely amazed by the beauty and history all around us!

“Double helix”

The Bramante Staircase is a double helix staircase in the Vatican Museums. Wrongly attributed to Donato Bramante, this staircase was designed by Giuseppe Momo in 1932, inspired by an older one actually designed by Bramante. This staircase is a double helix, that is to say it has two staircases, one to go up, and one to go down. So no one crosses each other in the opposite direction.
