Western San Juan Basketmaker-style anthropomorphic forms along the San Juan river (~1,000 BCE - ~400 CE). Forms are roughly life-size. The figure on the right may be wearing a mask. What do you do day-to-day in your work?

"I do a combination of field work, lab work, remote sensing data analysis, and modeling. In the field I measure snow properties by digging snow pits and collecting samples of dust layers which I analyze in the lab."
