Sabia que mais cedo ao mais tarde iria ler os #Despojados, e depois de o ter feito no ano passado... este ano volto ao ciclo #Hainish.
Me encanta que mucha gente haya descubierto el anarquismo y hayan hecho su libro de cabecera "Los desposeídos" de #ursulakleguin.
No entiendo cómo tan poca gente del colectivo LGTBIAQ+ tenga (tengamos) como libro de cabecera "la mano izquierda de la oscuridad" que me parece una maravilla.

I'm reading *The Dispossessed* for the first time. Yeah, I know I'm late to the party...
It's a set of very weird worlds she's portraying in this book. I find the culture on Anarres revolting in it's insularity, and groupthink. At the same time the misogynism expressed by the people on Urras is just as disgusting.
It really isn't a clear cut ideal, any of them. Classic Le Guin making things more complex than you first imagine. She was good.

I am reaching the end of the Dispossessed and have loved reading it. On my bookshelf to read next is (order not decided) The Terraformers by Annalee Newitz, The Lost Cause by Cory Doctorow, and The Long Way to a Small Angry Planet by Becky Chambers. My question is would it be worth it to read the other books in the "Hainish Cycle"? Do any of the others have solerpunk or hope punk vibes/themes?

Erityisen iloinen olen #UrsulaKLeGuin in, #Kompassiruusu n ja fandomin puolesta, ei ole vieläkään ihan jokapäiväistä että jokin perinteisesti genreen lokeroitu teos ja kirjailija ovat ehdolla yleiselle kirjallisuuspalkinnolle. Agricolahan myönnetään todellakin "merkittävän kaunokirjallisen teoksen erinomaisesta suomennoksesta".
