MAN #Truck & Bus is aiming to decarbonise its logistics by increasing the use of electric vehicles (BEVs) in its operations. A tender for BEVs on 40 routes has been launched, with series operations starting in 2026. MAN trucks drive up to 165 million kilometres annually. A test run with DB Schenker is underway using electric MAN eTGX #trucks on routes like Bamberg-Munich-Bamberg, with positive feedback on energy efficiency and driving experience. MAN is expanding its charging infrastructure at sites including #Munich, #Karlsfeld, and #Nuremberg, #Germany, with 170 new locations planned across #Europe in partnership with E.ON. Since 2025, over 150 eTGXs have been deployed, saving 820 tonnes of CO2. MAN also provides eMobility consulting for smooth transitions to electric #transport.

One of our sons is a truck driver. He gets a bit racist when he's behind the wheel of his 60-tonne behemoth, specifically toward drivers from the Indian subcontinent.
