Aebele TrijsburgI just finished this dragon pot. The body and the lid are wheel thrown. All the other details are sculpted by hand. Lef<p>Ceramics appreciation post! Created this baby by fluting the sides before opening it up and then trimming the excess from the top. LJ<p>Handbuilt textured tripod mugs in process. It was too cold to want to throw on the wheel since my studio is in the basement. So I rolled out a bunch of slabs and commandeered the dining room table to handbuild.</p><p>I've been making these mugs for over a decade. They still make me smile with their personality and sass.</p><p>The full size mugs end up about 14-16 ounces. LJ<p>Today was a gray and rainy one, so I spent a good chunk of it working in my clay studio. Base is added after trimming. I just couldn't let them go to someone else.
