I find it interesting 'spatially' to ski next to and indeed over a freeway, I70, the latter being the Eisenhower Tunnel; throw in skiing down from the Continental Divide....

Der Blauhäher ist ein hervorragender Skispringer – er fliegt einfach fantastisch weit! An den Skibindungen muss er allerdings noch feilen.

Wondering what the #skiing community might think. I have my own pair of #ski boots because my feet are odd and don't fit into the average rental ski boots.

Having my own boots now, is it more cost effective for me to get my own skis as well as I don't have to rent both skis and boots? Or should I just continue to rent skis even though I have my own boots?

I guess if I have my own skis, I'll have to factor in transportation costs and hassle too.

But wondering what peeps might think / opine.

On my way back from a completely #carfree #ski and #snowboard trip in Les Masses, #Switzerland. The folks at the vacation rental were quite confused that we didn't need any parking :D.
I have to admit, it's not the easiest way to do it. Groceries were tricky, but the store was very close to the slopes, as was our rental. So we could fill our backpacks at the end of the day and just (carefully!) ski and board back home.
