I recently bought a small Brother laser printer because I am sick to death of paying a small fortune in ink for our old Canon MX726 - which admittedly has given sterling service over quite a number of years. Mind you, I we do very little printing these days anyway but I just have had enough of buying ink. The Brother printer is fast, gives great quality, if a tad noisy. And was pretty cheap too.

@ljrk Much better than a #CUPS-based IPP firewall is if we from #OpenPrinting collaborate with @frameworkcomputer to make the repairable, upgradebale, and sustainable printer.
For the time being, connect your #printer via USB.

Again, if you're a consumer or a small business, I would not buy any #printer from this point forward as I have said for years now. There's no benefit.
