Is this a US mains plug? Prongs are 7–8 mm (around 0.3") apart.

One little detail I've always been fascinated by, and always notice, when travelling, is the types of power plugs around the world.

Maybe because I've lived in Australia and France, worked in Switzerland, and spent a fair bit of time in the US and Thailand, and have encountered several of them on a regular basis.

I think my favourite is the Swiss Type J plug. It is very efficient! The Aus ones are just funny. In Norway we use Type C and F.
