Finished the bases today. Gonna varnish them when this fog lifts (read: not tonight).</p><p><a href="https://skrivel.se/tags/hobby" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>hobby</span></a> <a href="https://skrivel.se/tags/warhammer" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>warhammer</span></a> <a href="https://skrivel.se/tags/skaven" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>skaven</span></a></p>
J. Steven York RESISTS<p>Having fun painting foam and plastic rock elements for use as scenery and miniatures in future "Minions at Work" photo cartoons. Precision painting makes me crazy, but I love organic, free form stuff like this.<br><a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/models" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>models</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/scenery" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>scenery</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/minatures" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>minatures</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/comicstrip" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>comicstrip</span></a></p>
Canageek (Roleplaying account)<p>My Aunt has asked for help buying some miniatures for my Dad for Christmas. </p><p>Generally he likes painting halflings and dwarves, enjoys bards and rogues, and doesn't like painting armor as he finds it really boring and repetitive. (though there may be some bias in there as those are the characters he likes to play, so he may just paint them so that he has the perfect miniature for his character)</p><p>Does anyone want to recommend me any good manufacturers, previously when I've bought a miniatures I've often got them months ahead of time by backing a Kickstarter so I don't know who's doing good work these days. </p><p>I've also had luck with buying him shipboard accessories in past, like little boats, since so many DND adventures involve a fight on board a ship. so if anyone knows of any miniatures of things like ships wheels or masts or something let me know.</p><p>if noon has recommendations I'll probably just look around Etsy until I find something cool.</p><p><a href="https://tabletop.social/tags/minatures" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>minatures</span></a> <a href="https://tabletop.social/tags/fantasy" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>fantasy</span></a> <a href="https://tabletop.social/tags/ttrpg" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>ttrpg</span></a></p>
