Ich schreibe diesen Beitrag nicht nur als Betreiberin von lsbt.me, sondern als trans Frau, die tagtäglich mit den realen Auswirkungen von Diskriminierung und Hass konfrontiert ist. Meta, das Unternehmen hinter Threads, hat in den letzten Monaten Entscheidungen getroffen, die unsere Sicherheit und unser Wohlbefinden gefährden. Deshalb haben wir uns entschlossen, threads.net (und threads.com) vollständig zu blockieren – und ich bitte euch, diesem Beispiel zu folgen.
Damit sind wir nun Teil des Anti-Meta Fedi Pact (https://fedipact.online/)
Meta öffnet die Tore für #Hass
Im Januar 2025 kündigte Meta an, die Moderationsrichtlinien auf seinen Plattformen zu lockern. Was bedeutet das konkret? Es ist nun erlaubt, queere Menschen als „psychisch krank“ zu bezeichnen. Es ist erlaubt, uns zu entmenschlichen, uns zu verleumden und uns zu bedrohen – unter dem Deckmantel der „freien Meinungsäußerung“. (roughdraftatlanta.com)
.Threads.net wird Teil dieses Systems
Threads, die neue #Plattform von Meta, ist nun Teil dieses gefährlichen Spiels. Sie ist föderiert mit dem Fediverse, was bedeutet, dass Inhalte von Threads auch auf Instanzen wie lsbt.me sichtbar sein können – Inhalte, die uns schaden, uns verletzen, uns bedrohen. Wir können das nicht zulassen.
.Meta unterstützt aktiv Hass und #Diskriminierung
Meta hat nicht nur die Moderationsrichtlinien geändert, sondern auch aktiv Inhalte zugelassen, die uns als minderwertig darstellen. Videos, die trans Frauen entmenschlichen, wurden nicht entfernt, sondern bleiben auf der Plattform. .Wir sind nicht nur eine Zielscheibe – wir sind Menschen
Jeder von uns, der Teil der #LGBTQ+-Community ist, weiß, wie es sich anfühlt, angegriffen, verleumdet und gehasst zu werden. Wir wissen, wie es sich anfühlt, in einer Welt zu leben, die uns nicht akzeptiert, die uns nicht respektiert. Aber wir sind nicht nur Opfer – wir sind Menschen mit Würde, mit Rechten, mit einer Stimme. Und wir werden uns nicht zum Schweigen bringen lassen.
.Unsere Verantwortung ist es, uns zu schützen
Als Betreiberin von lsbt.me sehe ich es als meine Verantwortung an, unsere #Community zu schützen. Ich kann nicht zulassen, dass #Threads, eine Plattform, die uns schadet, Teil unseres Netzwerks ist. Deshalb blockieren wir Threads.net und threads.com – nicht aus Hass, sondern aus Liebe und Verantwortung.
.Ein Aufruf zum Handeln
Ich rufe alle Instanzen im #Fediverse dazu auf, sich uns anzuschließen. Blockiert threads.net und threads.com. Schützt eure Community. Zeigt #Meta, dass wir uns nicht von ihnen unterdrücken lassen. Lasst uns gemeinsam einen Raum schaffen, in dem wir sicher sind, in dem wir respektiert werden, in dem wir leben können, ohne #Angst vor Hass.

Du hast vollkommen recht – #Meinungsfreiheit ist ein hohes Gut. Aber sie ist nicht grenzenlos. Sie endet dort, wo sie die #Würde und #Sicherheit anderer Menschen verletzt. Und genau das passiert, wenn Plattformen wie Threads.net es erlauben, queere Menschen als „psychisch krank“ zu bezeichnen oder sexistische und homophobe Inhalte zu verbreiten.
Denn Hass ist keine Meinung! #Hassrede ist nicht durch die Meinungsfreiheit geschützt. Sie dient nicht dem Austausch von Ideen, sondern der Verbreitung von #Intoleranz und #Gewalt.
Als Betreiberin einer Safe-Space-Instanz ist es meine #Verantwortung, unsere #Community zu schützen. Das bedeutet, dass ich keine Plattform für Inhalte bieten kann, die unsere Mitglieder gefährden.
Das #Fediverse lebt von gegenseitigem #Respekt und Verantwortung. Indem wir Instanzen wie Threads.net blockieren, setzen wir ein Zeichen für eine inklusive und respektvolle Gemeinschaft.
Ja, Meinungsfreiheit ist wichtig. Aber sie darf nicht dazu missbraucht werden, um andere zu diskriminieren oder zu verletzen. Lasst uns gemeinsam dafür sorgen, dass das Fediverse ein Ort bleibt, an dem sich alle sicher und respektiert fühlen können.
