In my youth I used to do a bit of #mailart - I loved the projects that were set up like this :
shared list of folk.
simple theme sent out to list.
participants make multiples (size of group) and send back.
Initiator collates 1 from each participant, packages and sends back to each participant.
So 100 participants make 100 artworks.
each participant gets a set of variety 100 different artworks
.
The Cactus network was amazing for this.
Anyone know of any of these still going on?

Mittlerweile habe ich 34 der 48 Postkarten meines Reverse Mailart Projekts verschickt. Sehr vielfältige Kunst, teils hochgradig "geappt", teils ein ganz normales Bild.

Der Unterschied zwischen #Mailart und #Reversemailart ist:
Bei Mailart gibt es viele Absender und nur eine Empfängeradresse. Reverse Mailart sind von einem Absender oder Absenderin gestaltete Postkarten, die an verschiedene Empfänger versendet werden.
Das versendete Objekt ist in beiden Fällen ein unikates Kunstwerk.
Post von mir selbst. Die erste Hybrid-Clipart-Collage-Postkarte. Am Handy gestaltet und verschickt, daher dem Appspressionismus zuzuordnen.
Das Grundmotiv, kahler Baum vor stechender Sonne, ist von mir. Galgen mit Sarg und Totenkops sind aus der Simplycards-Clipart. Grünliche Färbung ist ein Filter der App.
